Mineirinho that was the leader of the ranking in good part of the year, arrives in Pipeline and needs a victory to be the champion

Adriano de Souza, the Mineirinho, wore the yellow jersey of the leader of ranking along six stages of World Circuit of Surfing this year. However, at the final, the most experienced of Brazilian storm, at 28 year old was overcome by the Australian, Mick Fanning and his compatriot Filipe Toledo, fell down to third position. By the way he just needs a victory in Pipeline, WCT head office in Hawaii, last stage in the season that started yesterday with the trials of invited surfers, to win the title of the season. And tries to control his anxiety.
-I am not the leader anymore but the pressure still big. Because this, I keep the focus, and at this moment the important is to leave of Pipeline with the yellow jersey - said him in interview by e-mail.
In 2015, Mineirinho won a stage -Margaret River (Australia)and reached in second two times: Bells Beach(Australia) and Trestles(USA). Now pursuit his first trophy in Hawaii.
-Pipeline is a wave to few surfers. It is different for being totally classic, with fantastic and demanding waves and, of course, because is the great final. I am here almost a month just to change this background - affirms the Brazilian, that never passed through Round 3 of Hawaiian championship.
Mineirinho fights for the world title against Filipinho, the current champion, Gabriel Medina:and the
Australians Mick Fanning and Owen Wright. The expectation of organization is that, Round 1 is opening today, at 4:00 pm(of Brasília).
