G. Medina(BRA) in his opening wave score 8.00 and CJ Hobgood(USA)1.00;
G. Medina(BRA) surfed more a wave 3.67 and CJ Hobgood(USA) 4.67 wave and Interference
G. Medina (BRA)advanced to Semifinals.,

average wave score  -3.92                               /the best wave - 6.00 (4) -  M. Fanning(AUS)

K. Slater(USA)in his opening wave scored 1.07 and M. Fanning(AUS) turned the heat with 3.50 wave and later more a wave of 1.20;
K. Slater(USA)surfed a wave of 3.17 and turned the heat.
At final minutes M. Fanning(AUS) turned the heat with score 6.00 and now K. Slater(USA)needed 6.33 to turn the heat., but there is no time anymore.
M. Fanning(AUS) advanced to Semifinals.

M. Ho(HAW)in his opening wave scored only 0.23 and A. Melling(AUS)surfed two waves: 1.20 and 3.33 and turned the heat but later \M. Ho(HAW) surfed a wave 6.83 and turned the heat and A. Melling(AUS) needed 4.44 to turn the heat and there was no time anymore.
M. Ho(HAW)advancedo to Semifinals.

A. de Souza(BRA) in his opening wave scored 2.00 and J. Kerr(AUS)1.00 and 1.01 to turn the heat and found a weak wave -3.00 and turn the heat.
So A.. de Souza(BRA)needes 2.01 to turn the heat and at final , surfed a weak wave and scored 3.50 but enough to turn the heat.
A.de Souza(BRA)advanced to Semifinals.



SEMIFINALS

1.
average wave score -5.42                                   /the best wave -7.33 (1) - M. FanningAUS)

M. Fanning(AUS) in his opening wave scored 7.33 and 1.50.
G. Medina(BRA) surfed a weak wave 0.37 and needed 6.97 to turn the heat, so he surfed a wave - 3.67 and needed 3.67 to turn the heat. Later M. Fanning(AUS)replace 1.50 for 3.03 .
Than G. Medina needed 6.27 to turn the heat. At final wave G. Medina(BRA) turned the heat with aerial full rotation, scored 6.50 and went to the Final.




2.
average wave score -3.55                                     the best wave -4.00 (4) A. de Souza(BRA)

A. de Souza(BRA) opening the heat with weak wave 0.57, Mason surfed his first wave 1.24 but not enough to turn the heat.
Later A. de Souza(BRA) replaced the scores for 4.60 and 1.20 so M. Ho(HAW) needed only 1.38
to turn the heat.At final M. Ho(HAW) did Interference.
A. de Souza(BRA) advanced to Final but has already conquered the World Title.




FINAL
average wave score -5.64                                             the best wave -7.67 (1) A. de Souza(BRA)

A. de Souza(BRA)in his opening wave in the Final scored 7.67 and G. Medina, scored 4.00.
Later on A. de Souza(BRA) in his third wave scored 5.17 and G. Medina(BRA)scored 1.83 and needed 8.84 to turn the heat.
Later G. Medina(BRA) replace 1.83 for 4.50;
 A. de Souza(BRA) replaced a 5.17 for 6.40 .
So time was over, A. de Souza (BRA) was the Champion of Billabong Pipe Masters, and also
conquered the World Title of surfing.
