Filipe Toledo, who won the stage in Portugal, depends on himself to be world champion

Now is Brazil against Australia

Starting today, Filipinho, Mineirinho and Medina compete for the world title against Mick Fanning and Owen Wright.

OAHU, HAWAII

With three Brazilian at dispute of world title of surfing, the stage in Pipeline - the last of WCT season - will have the window of competitions opened today, at 4:00 pm(in Brasília). Filipe Toledo, Gabriel Medina and Adriano de Souza, the Mineirinho, duel for the trophy against the Australians Mick Fanning and Owen Wright.

The expectation of World Surf League(WSL) is that the competition will be started even today, since there is a forecast of a big swell. First, will be disputed a selective to define the last two Wild Cards to stage. - the Hawaiian Bruce Irons, brother of three times world champion Andy Irons, and the Australian Wade Carmichael took the two first Wild Cards. Than begins the main dispute.

Yesterday, many surfers used the time to do the last training  session before starting the stage. One of them, was Adriano de Souza de Souza, third in the ranking that was applauded by the fans.

-Here is so hard to train, there are many people that pursuit the wave and the sea is crowded. But the persistence always prevails here. You stand there trying, trying and a time manages to take a good wave - said Mineirinho to site "Globoesporte.com".

Second in the ranking, behind only Fanning, Filipinho just depends on himself to be world champion, as Mineirinho: if one of them win the stage, surpasses the Australian.

-I will try to intubate as deeper as I get - said Filipinho, who in the last year took a fifth position in Hawaii: - This is the secret of Pipeline, there is no other strategy.

In fourth position, Medina - that in 2014 lost the final to Australian Julian Wilson - less likely to lift the trophy: needs a combination of results.
