SAQUAREMA, RJ - The Brazilian stage of the World  Circuit of Surfing, in Saquarema, enters its decisive line. Yesterday were disputed the heats of the Round 4. Adriano de Souza, the Mineirinho, is the only Brazilian classified to the Quarterfinals so far.
 
In a heat with only surfers from the same country, Mineirinho, with 17.27 points, defeated Wiggolly Dantas (16.54) and Gabriel Medina (16.53). Yago Dora (15.13), who eliminated defending World Champion John John Florence, was second in the dispute with Australians Mick Fanning (17.50) and Joel Parkinson (12.54).Besides Mineirinho and Mick Fanning, also are guaranteed in the Quarterfinals the Australians Adrian Buchan and Owen Wright.

Today, starting from 7:00 am, will be disputed the heats of the Round 5 that will classify the last surfers to the Quarterfinals. Wiggolly Dantas faces Joel Parkinson; Yago Dora makes a home dispute with Gabriel Medina; the South African Jordy Smith faces Australian Julian Wilson, and American Kanoa Igarashi disputes against Australian Matt Wilkinson.

In the  Women's competition, the Australian Tyler Wright defeated yesterday in the final the French Johanne Defay.
