The Brazilians advanced with right foot in the opening day of Bells Beach, in Austrália.
Second stage of World championship of surfing. Filipe Toledo gave show in the Sea when defeated  the 11x time Champion Kelly Slate(USA) and added 15.87 points. The two time World Champion Gabriel Medina, also showed his strenght in the competition. Now in this Thursday, the WSl will call at 17:45(Brasilia Time)for continuing of the championship.

By the way, Italo Ferreira suffered to advance to the Round 3. For only 33/100 the Brazilian did not face the Recap of the second stage of the World Circuit. The surfer of RN(Rio Grande do Norte)added 10.06 and the first position Ezekiel Lau(HAW)of Hawaii, ranked 10.57.
Gabriel Medina surfed better on the last minutes and attacked the waves varying so well the manuevers.
The first dispute was against two Australians, Ryan Callinan(AUS) and Harrison Man(AUS). The Brazilian added 13.70 against 13.00 of Ryan Callinan(AUS) , and Harrison Man(AUS) went to the Recap, Round 2, with only 7.87 in the heat.
-It is Always difficult to face Ryan, he is a surfer so hard, I am feeling well and happy for winning.
I started a quite slow and had to have so patience. I hope to surf more waves in the next Round. said the two-time World Champion.

Yago Dora, also was consistent - the surfer defeated the Australian Wade Carmichael(AUS) that added 8.04. Ricardo Christie(NZL)of New Zealand was the leader of the heat with 11.83, and the Brazilian added 10.10 to guarantee the place in the Round 3.


Besides him, Jadson Andre(BRA)clinched the first position in the heat and ranked. He overcame the French Jeremy Flores(FRA) and the Australian Owen Wright(AUS). The Brazilian added 12.23 against 9.57 of the French surfer, and 8.20 of the Australian one.
