"Filipe Toledo advances to the Round of 16 in Bali. Medina waits for Sunday" -
In Round with Brazilians little inspired, Filipe Toledo passed by Caio Ibelli and will surf the Round of 16 against Ryan Callinan. Heat of Gabriel Medina is postponed to Sunday.
The third Round of the stage of Bali of World Championship was not the best to Brazilians athletes. With only 12 of 16 heats finished, only Filipe Toledo and Michael Rodrigues, that faced Brazilians rivals, advanced of the Round.
Ítalo Ferreira, vice leader of Men's Ranking, was eliminated in the fifth heat by the Australian Jack Freestone. Fortunately to the Brazilian that the current leader, John John Florence, also did not advanced when was defeated by Joan Duru.
Because of the quality of the Sea, the WSL decided to postpone the end of the Third Round to the Sunday. The opening heat will be Gabriel Medina facing the Italian Leonardo Fioravanti. The first call will be at 19h(of Brasília).
Besides Ítalo, other Brazilians also were eliminated, Jadson André, Yago Dora, Deivid Silva, William Cardoso and Caio Ibelli also finished their participation in Bali. On this Sunday, Peterson Crisanto and Jessé Mendes also enter on the water after Medina.
