Brazilians advance to the Round 3 in France
The Brazilians Miguel Pupo(BRA) and Adriano de Souza(BRA),the Mineirinho, guaranteed yesterday their place in the Round 3 of the stage of Hossegor, in France, by the World Championship of Surfing, and will be joined to Gabriel Medina(BRA) and Ian Gouveia(BRA), who had already been classified for
the sequence of the dispute.
Mineirinho recovered himself after losing in the Round 1 and defeated the Australian Josh Kerr(AUS) in the Recap. Miguel Pupo(BRA) overcame his compatriot Filipe Toledo(BRA),the Filipinho, who had his performance prejudiced during the heat because of severe back pain. The fight for the title of the season
is concentrated between the South African Jordy Smith(RSA), leader of the Ranking, and the American John John Florence(HAW), the current champion.
