1.At the opening heat of this Round, the great "highlight" F. Toledo(BRA)surfed "tubes" and overcame the experienced surfer K. Andino(USA)son of former surfer D. Andino(USA). Only to point out, 10 minutes before the start of the heat, the Californian surfer went to the water, and around 8:00 am F. Toledo(BRA)showed up by the back of the structure(not main surfers entrance)and wore
his jersey nr 77, and finally went to the water; The crownd on the beach was anxious about.The Brazilian surfer passed to the Semifinals;
2.The yellow Jersey J. Wilson(AUS), experienced surfer in the tour, overcame the Brazilian rookie M. Rodrigues(BRA) The leader of the Ranking was guaranteed in the Semifinals:
3.The "hightlight" Australian rookie W. Carmichael(AUS)defeated the 2014 World Champion G. Medina(BRA)the surfed few completed waves and only scored 3.63; At my oppinion, G. Medina(BRA)did not keep his style in this heat, I mean, generally, he reads the sea, and searches the waves by paddling all the time, probably the condictions of the sea were not favorable for our
great and first World Champion of Surfing in the time of this heat.So the Australian passed to the Semifinals;
4.At last heat of the Quarterfinals, the "highlight" E. Lau(HAW)overcame the Brazilian Y. Dora(BRA), and was guaranteed in the Semifinals.

With the Brazilian crowd on the beach, F. Toledo(BRA)surfed excellent "tubes" in Barrinha beach, and scored 9.93 in a "tube"and overcame the Australian W. Carmichael(AUS). F.
