Australian won among the women
In the Women's event, the party was Australian, leader of the Ranking, Stephanie Gilmore overcame the second top position, the American Lakey Peterson, for expanding her advantage.
-Finally I managed to win here. I had some difficult moments, but I love Brasil, this place is beautiful and I had a lot of fun - celebrated Stephanie.
Two Brazilians arrived to the last day of competition in Itaúna Beach, and they faced themselves in the Quarterfinals, with the "hawaiian-gaúcha" Tatiana Weston-Webb eliminating Silvana Lima. Tatiana finished in the third position in the event, the same place she is the Ranking. Silvana Lima is the 10th in the season. The next stage will be in June, in Bali.
