The sceneries
John John Florence will be the champion if:
-wins the stage of Portugal and Gabriel Medina
finished at most in 9th;
-would be vice-champion, Medina finished at
most in 13th and Matt Wilkinson and Jordy
Smith stop in Semifinals.

A Hawaiian on the way of bi
At coldness of numbers, nine surfers enter the Sea of Supertubos, in Peniche(Portugal)from today, still with chances of conquering the title of World Circuit of Surfing. In fact, the conquest of Cup of the season is polarized between two of major names of new generation, John John Florence and Gabriel Medina.
Pointed out by the fans as the most talented surfer nowadays, the Hawaiian of 23 years old enter the Portuguese waters with an advantage of 2,700 points over the Brazilian- 20,000 points are in game in the two last stages of World Circuit. John John pursues his first title, knows that will have to surf his best to overcome the 2014 Champion. Medina 22 years old, usually rises his level in decisive moments. It was in this way last year, when began bad the season, but recovered himself in second half-yearly and arrived to the last stage with good chances of being bichampion -finished in second in the stage and the third position in the World Championship.
To take the decision of the title another time to the tubes of the beach of Hawaii, scenery of his consecration two years ago, Medina needs to finish the stage at least in the Quarterfinals. The two favorites to the title still try to win in Portugal. The Brazilian already disputed a Final in Peniche in 2012. The best result of John John was a third place in 2014. Last year Medina advanced to the Quarterfinals and Florence stopped in Round 3 - the victory was of Filipe Toledo, one of the three Brazilians with chances of title(the other is the defending Champion, Adriano de Souza, the Mineirinho).
-I am so happy to come back to Peniche. It is a place where the waves are actually good - said Medina. -I am confident. After France(was vice-champion in Hossegor)arrived closer to the leadership and I will do my best.

Hossegor - Gabriel Medina follows in the fight for the World Title of Surfing and will go to the stage of Portugal closer to the leader of the Ranking, the Hawaiian John John Florence. Yesterday, the surfer of São Paulo(SP)disputed the Final of the stage of Hossegor, in France, however was defeated by the surprising Hawaiian Keanu Asing by 13.94 to 7.00.
As John was defeated in the semifinals, the distance to Medina decreased from 4.200 to 2.700 points.
If the Brazilian had been champion, the difference would have dropped to 700 points
John John leads the World Championship with 48,150 points and Medina comes in second with 45,450 points. The Australian Matt Wilkinson is in third position with 38,250 and still has mathematics chances of being the champion.
Remains only two stages to the end of the season and the next will be in Peniche, Portugal, between October 18th and 29th. Folowing, between 8 and 20 December, there will be the traditional stage on the beach of Pipeline in Hawaii.
Yesterday, Asing 21st, in the Ranking, was the surprise in Hossegor. In the Semifinal, the 23-year-old surfer defeated John John in a Hawaiian duel, with two grades above "8" that let him to finish the heat with 16.94 against 16.07.
In the Final, Asing dominated the dispute against Medina from beginning to end .. The Hawaiian surfed better waves and took higher scores.
