A Hawaiian on the way of bi

At coldness of numbers, nine surfers enter the Sea of Supertubos, in Peniche(Portugal)from today, still with chances of conquering the title of World Circuit of Surfing. In fact, the conquest of Cup of the season is polarized between two of major names of new generation, John John Florence and Gabriel Medina.

Pointed out by the fans as the most talented surfer nowadays, the Hawaiian of 23 years old enter the Portuguese waters with an advantage of 2,700 points over the Brazilian- 20,000 points are in game in the two last stages of World Circuit. John John pursues his first title, knows that will have to surf his best to overcome the 2014 Champion. Medina 22 years old, usually rises his level in decisive moments. It was in this way last year, when began bad the season, but recovered himself in second half-yearly and arrived to the last stage with good chances of being bichampion -finished in second in the stage and the third position in the World Championship.

To take the decision of the title another time to the tubes of the beach of Hawaii, scenery of his consecration two years ago, Medina needs to finish the stage at least in the Quarterfinals. The two favorites to the title still try to win in Portugal. The Brazilian already disputed a Final in Peniche in 2012. The best result of John John was a third place in 2014. Last year Medina advanced to the Quarterfinals and Florence stopped in Round 3 - the victory was of Filipe Toledo, one of the three Brazilians with chances of title(the other is the defending Champion, Adriano de Souza, the Mineirinho).

-I am so happy to come back to Peniche. It is a place where the waves are actually good - said Medina. -I am confident. After France(was vice-champion in Hossegor)arrived closer to the leadership and I will do my best.

The window of the stage of Portugal goes till day 29th.
