All winners of Round 2 advanced to Round 3, and the loosers are out of the event.

ROUND 3
In this round, the heats are of three surfers as in the Round 1.
At this opening heat 1, A. Quizon(HAW)came back to the water, just after the heat 6 of Round 2,  won the heat over L. Peterson(USA) and T. Wright(AUS), and  advanced directly to the Quarterfinals.
After at heat 2, in this Hawaiian battle, M. Manuel(HAW)started very well till the middle of the heat, however at final, C. Moore(HAW), surfed two better waves, won the heat and also advanded to the
Quarterfinals, and sent her compatriots , M. Manuel(HAW) and T. Weston-Webb(HAW)to Round 4.
At heat 3, C. Conlogue(USA)started the heat very well, and is in excelent shape to fight for her first World Title even in Hawaii,  J. Defay(FRA) found the waves but did not reached good scores, however at the final of the heat, N. Van Dijk(AUS)surfed the her best wave, and won the heat.
At final heat of Round 3, C. Ho(HAW)surfed the first and the best wave of the heat 9.00. S. Fitzgibbons(AUS)surfed a wave -7.93, and around 20 minutes of the heat, found her best wave -8.67, and won the heat.
S. Fitzgibbons(AUS)already won in Rio de Janeiro, and has many fans in Brazil.
 B. Buitendag(SAF) found the waves, but not good scores.
All winners of Round 3 advanced to the Quarterfinals, and loosers will battle in Round 4.

ROUND 4
heat
1. L. Peterson (USA) x T. Weston-Webb(HAW)
2. M. Manuel(HAW) x T. Wright(AUS)
3.C. Conloge(USA)   x C. Ho(HAW)
4.B. Buitendag(SAF) x J. Defay(FRA)

This upcoming Round 4  may be decisive the World Title.
C. Moore(HAW) is already in the Quarterfinals, just waiting her opponent.
C. Conlogue(USA)should be calm, and do not let the pressure disturb her , just remind that she already  face C. Ho(HAW) and K. Andrew(AUS)in Round 1, and won the heat. However  C. Ho(HAW) is a good surfer and is surfing well in Honolua Bay, Maui. C. Conlogue(USA) should just focus  on victory, otherwise C. Moore(HAW) will be the World Champion in advance.

QUARTERFINALS
1.A. Quizon x   TBD
2.C. Moore  x    TBD
3.N. Van Dijk x  TBD
4.S. Fitzgibbons x TBD

Finally, I want to point out,  that I follow up WCTs since 2008 and many times, the surfers in Men's competitions that dispute the Round 5 and win the heat, also win the Quarterfinals heat.
Let's wait for...
