On Sunday, July 19th, at final in J-Bay Open, South Africa, the Australian surfer Mick Fanning(AUS), three times surfing world champion -2007, 2009, 2013 - suffered a shark attack on the water . Fortunatelly the shark or sharks just reached the surfboard of the surfer.
Mick Fanning(AUS)has many, so many fans in Brazil, would be very sad if anything happened with our great champion.
Than the board of directors of the event cancelled the championship at the Final , with both surfers in
second place.
