"Surf: Filipe Toledo shines and Brazilians make good debut in Bali".

- Filipe reaches the best score, Ítalo Ferreira wins the heat with na anklet even and eight Brazilians advanced to the second stage of the competition-

The first day of competition in the stage of Bali of the World Circuit of Surfing was excelente for Brazilians surfers. Filipe Toledo was he highlight of the country, reaching the best performance among the participants, leading the classification of the eight Brazilians to the next stage.

The best performance of the day was Filipe Toledo. After the vice championship in Bells Beach stage, the Brazilians arrived in Bali and guaranteed a score 9 and finished the heat with the highest score of the stage, 16.17. He ranked with his compatriota Peterson Crisanto, sending the Australian Jacob Willcox to the Recap.

-It is so difficult in the outside. It is small, with the waves breaking in two diferente places. I am happy that the small one came and had a good session to complete the aerial - analised Filipe.

The current Champion of the stage in Bali, Italo Ferreira overcame the ankle pains to dominate the heat and is guaranteed to the next phase. Surfing with na anklet because of a torsion suffered a week ago, Italo made sure he was ready to fight for the title.

-I am very happy of coming back and start well. I am very confidente. Last year I have one of my best moments here in Keramas and let's try again. A week ago I injured my anklet training. It was not a serious injured, but my doctor  came from Brazil, helped me and now I am ready -guaranteed Italo.

Gabriel Medina had great difficulties to rank to the next stage. In the heat with Deivid Silva and the Indonesian Rio Waida, the two-time World Champion watched the Young surfer of 18 years-old dominate and disputed with his compatriota till the end of the heat when he was able to overtake 9.54 x 6.77.

Tatiana Weston-Webb overcame the American Courtney Conlogue and the Australian Bronte Macaulay for advancing; After seven months, Silvana Lima returns to compete, but went to the Recap

A win and a defeat. This was the retrospective of the Brazilians on the first day of the stage in Bali of the World Circuit of Surfing. Tatiana Weston-Webb, who is in the eighth position in the World Ranking presented a great surf to defeat the American Courtney Conlogue and the Australian Bronte Macaulay and advances of the Round. Silvana Lima, who has recently recovered from injury, did not overcome Caroline Marks, in a heat that also had Coco Ho, and will dispute the Recap.

Tati, who was born in Rio Grande do Sul but grew up and lived most of her life in the United States, representes Brazil in the Circuit. At dawn this Monday, she got na importante win in the opening heat. She passed with the score of 11.96, by the Australian Bronte Macaulay and by the American Courtney Conlogue. She is in the eighth position in the Ranking this year, with a fifth and a ninth places.

The surfer of Ceará(CE) Silvana Lima was defeated in the Seeding Round and will dispute the Recap. Not competing since the end of the last year she seemed a little blocked on the water and was eliminated by the American Caroline Marks, that is the leader of the classification. Silvana scored 6.44 in her waves. Now, she will dispute the Recap against Courtney Conlogue and Macy Callaghan.

The third stage of World circuit of Surfing started on this Sunday, in Bali, in Indonesia with Filipe Toledo at a level over the rivals on the waves of Keramas. The Brazilian reached the best performance in the first day of competition, and the defending Champion of the stage Italo Ferreira won with ankle injury even. Gabriel Medina passed in difficult situation, but also garanteed the classification to the Round of 32 with a turn in the end of the heat.

Another 5 Brazilians also advanced on this Sunday: Yago Dora, Jadson André, Michael Rodrigues, Caio Ibelli, Peterson Crisanto. By the way Deivid Silva, Jessé Mendes and William Cardoso will have to pass by the Recap.

After clinched the vice championship in the stage of Bells Beach, Filipe Toledo showed that is one of the great favorites to clinch the title in Keramas. The Brazilian surfed the highest reverse aerial of the championship to reach the best score(9.00) and sum(16.17) of the day. Filipinho advanced with the also Brazilian Peterson Crisanto(10.40), sending the Australian Jacob Wilcox(7.60)to the Recap.

Vice leader of the ranking, Italo debuted in the fourth heat with a anklet in the right foot because of a torsion that he suffered a week ago. If the defending Champion of Kerama's  stage competed feeling some kind of pain, it was not possible to note. The surfer of Rio Grande do Norte(RN)dominated the dispute against Caio Ibelli(BRA)and Ezequiel Lau(HAW)from the starting to the end. He surfed with power, fast and till tried na aerial full rotation, that was his brand of his campaign in the title of last year. With the total of 11.50 points, Italo won the heat, with the compatriota Caio Ibelli(8.97)advancing in second, and Lau(7.80) going to the Recap.

With the tide going down, the waves started to be scarce in the heat of the current two time World Champion. Gabriel Medina had difficulties in the the dispute against Deivid Silva and the Indonesian Rio Waida. The local surfer at 18 won the heat with the total of 9.60 points. Medina stayed great part of the dispute in the latest position and only guaranteed the classification in the final moments of the heat, with two waves that reached 9.54 points in the total, against 6.77 of Deivid, that went to the Recap.

Currente number 1 of the World, the Hawaiian  John John Florence opened the competition with a win over the Italian Leonardo Fioravanti and the Brazilian Michael Rodrigues(BRA), that also advanced to the Round of 32 in second position. The surfer of Rio Grando do Norte(RN)Jadson Andre also classified in the following heat, claimed by the South African Jordy Smith. Yago Dora defeated the Australians Owen Wright(2nd)and Soli Bailey(3rd).
