It is arriving the time of decision of World Circuit of Surfing. Antepenultimate stage of the season, the CT of France starts today, on the beaches of Hossegor with a nearly polarized dispute, and home, between Filipe Toledo and Gabriel Medina. The two Brazilians advanced in the Ranking, opening good advantage over the Australian Julian Wilson and the compatriot Italo Ferreira, that realized the fight for the title more and more distant. Leader, Filipino does a season almost impeccable. Of eight stages disputed till now, arrived at least to the Quarterfinals in seven of them. Won two, in Saquarema and South Africa.

My strategy now is precisely stay ahead of everybody - said him yesterday, in collective interview:- the fight for the title started to take shape so you have to do the best that others guys of Top 5. I am at a good position. I waited for a long time to wear the yellow jersey(used by the leader of Ranking in the heats)and do not want let it for anybody else.

Filipinho seems comfortable on the way of his first title. However showed up a problem: Medina. Known for "wake up" on the second half of the season, the surfer of São Paulo clinched the last two stages in Tahiti and in the Surf Ranch, and is in the second position in the Ranking. With three wins in CT of France in his background, will not be surprise if he if he clinches another triumph in the year and stay close in Filipinho or even take the lead.

After France, the circuit moves to Portugal, site of penultimate stage, from 16 to 27 of October, before the finishing in Hawaii, from 8 to 20 of December.

In Women's, the World title might already be defined on French  waters. Leader of the Ranking, Stephanie Gilmore lifts up the cup - the seventh of his career - if clinches the championship. The Australian also will be the champion if reaches the Semifinals, and her main rival, the American Lakey Peterson, goes out of the event before the Quarterfinals. The Women's Circuit will have only one more stage after France, in the Island of Maui, in Hawaii, from Nov. 25 to Dec 06th.
