No way Filipe Toledo(at right) was eliminated in Round 3 and can not be the Champion anymore

No way for Filipe Toledo. Second position in the Ranking of the season and appointed as main
adversary of the Australian Mick Fanning, the Brazilian left the dispute for the title yesterday.
On restarting of the stage of Pipeline in Hawaii after four days with no competition, the athlete at
20 was eliminated soon in Round 3.
Toledo entered in the sea to dispute with Hawaiian Mason Ho under pressure. Because, two heats before,Fanning has already guaranteed  the place at sequence of competition over Jamie O'Brien(HAW).
The conditions of waves also were no good. The surfer of Brazil passed almost all the Round 3 behing. But a little more of 10 minutes left, turned the heat. The problem is that at final minutes, Ho turned the heat again and even with at the last tentative, Filipinho did not turn the heat.

-Sincerely, I was so happy and having so much fun along the year. nfortunately, the title did not come
this time but I will back still stronger in next year and for sure I will be at dispute again -
affirmed the Brazilian right after leaving the Sea.
With three victories in 10 stages disputed till the moment, Toledo was being one of the main highlights.

And with more a discard after the end of dispute in Pipeline, he was the main adversary of Fanning.
Besides the athlete of Brazil, who also saw the chance of taking the Title ended was the Australian Julian Wilson - that needed to win in Hawaii and to cheer against the rivals. The major problem is that he, as Filipinho, lost in the Round 3.

But if both surfers do not have more chances to take the Cup of the season, Gabriel Medina still alive in the fight for World Bichampionship. The current champion did not give chances to the South African Jordy Smith and advanced to the Quarterfinals with smooth to win by 15.84 to 4.50.

The problem is that also Fanning  was advanced, Medina has to win the competition in Hawaii besides cheer for the Australian and Adriano de Souza do not pass over the Quarterfinals.
Mineirinho, so, is now the main athlete of country with chances of being champion. He passed to Quarterfinals in Pipeline at defeating the Irish Glenn Hall at last heat.

SCARE
Australian was injured and taken to the Hospital
The Australian Bede Durbidge saw his performance in the stage of Pipeline, in Hawaii, ended before he waited for. Soon, in the second heat of the day, he suffered a bad fall in the starting of dispute with the Hawaiian Keanu Asing in a big tube and have to leave the Sea with only 0.17 points computed and a wave acceptable. The surfer  only left the water after rescued by the jet ski of the organization of the event. He was take of stretcher  and  prompty sent to one hospital to a better evaluation. According to organization of World Surf League(WSL),  Durbidge suffered a compression of column and would pass for exams more detailed. While this, the victory of the
heat stayed with the Hawaiian Asing that scored 5.00. Bede Durbidge  started  the dispute in Hawaii as World No.11 in the World Ranking. This year the Australian was in two finals: in Rio de Janeiro and in France. In both stages he was defeated by Brazilians: Filipe Toledo(at first),Gabriel Medina(at second). In 2008, Durbidge was deputy World Champion staying just behind of the American
Kelly Slater.

DOES BY WHERE

With Consistence, discipline and courage against shark, Mick Fanning fight for the fourth World Title in a year that became the man to be beat - and even more admired.

Renato de Alexandrino
renato.alexandrino@globo.com.br

On June of 2004, when attempt to a maneuver in Indonesia Mick Fanning slides, fell awkwardly on the surfboard and suffers a severe lesion in the posterior muscle of the left leg. I a rare surgical procedure, a metal hook was placed under the skin to hold the muscle in place. It was five months out of the water, with many doubts concerning the future of then promising Australian surfer. In early 2005, in the first championship that he disputed after get injured, Mick won the Gold Coast WCT. Ten years later, he is one of the most admired surfers in the world, with three World Titles in his curriculum.

In the tifht for his fourth Cup, Mick at 34, is the main rival of Brazilians Filipe Toledo, Adriano de Souza and Gabriel Medina. The four surfers are awaiting in Hawaii by restarting of Pipeline WCT, that was postponed again yesterday for waiting of good waves. The championship may restart today, at 4:00 Pm (Brasília Time)

If amont the Brazilian Fans is, of course, for the Thophy remains in the country, it is undeniable also that Michael Eugene Fanning would be a deserved champion of 2015 season. Consistent the Australian won in Bells Beach, in Australia, and
Trestles, in California, and was protagonist of the most dramatic moment in the history of the elite of surfing.

In the final of  Jeffreys Bay, in South Africa, a shark attacked him. The Australian escaped unhurt. The final was interrupted and he became famous in the world - the video of the attack broadcasted by World Surf League(WSL), had 22 million views no YouTube.

Jeffreys Bay was the event where I felt more comfortable. Everybody forgot the competition and was there one for the other, support - said Fanning to WSL site.

Personal dramas are nothing new to him. In 1998, at 17, he lost his older brother, Sean, another promising surfer, in a car accident. An annual Tourney is performed in Gold Coast to remind Sean, and Mick said that has already felt the presence of his brother when is surfing. In 2007, on the day when he became Champion for the first time, Fanning saw a dolphin during the four heats of WCT in Imbituba(SC).

-He was there, just having fun . I felt like was my brother. I spent the day talking to the dolphin. Perhaps does not mean anything but I do not know, maybe means anything - Said Mick, at that time.

In 2007, he changed from the water into wine and vice-versa. Known than until  then by his partying side- Friends said that when he drank turned into "Eugene", his middle name and out of control -, Mick decided to become an athlete. He started to wake up very early and often was the first to enter the sea to train in the stages beaches. He started to win.

Medina has never hidden the Australian , not Kelly Slater(USA)as is common for many surfers, was his strong influence.

-Mick is an inspiration to me, because it is very determined and knows what he is doint - said the surfer of São Paulo, at 21.

Adriano de Souza is another fan declared:

-He is the reason I am here and wake up every day. People do not see how he works, and whe shows taht work gets results.
